She hosts Velocity Network’s hit series “Garage Squad,” with season five in production spring/summer 2018. The show follows Heather and her male co-stars as they crash garages around the Chicago-land area, helping owners refurbish their distressed, classic hot rods and get them back on the road.
Growing up a tomboy near the Big Snowy Mountains in Montana, driving a manual transmission and changing her own tire were prerequisites to getting her driver’s license. Heather’s father, a DIY maverick, taught her to use tools, shoot guns and most importantly, to feel empowered as an independent woman. With the wilderness as her playground, she developed a deep love of nature and adventure, her wanderlust leading her to explore more than 20 countries around the world. A SCUBA Rescue Diver and Environmental Scientist, Heather is an advocate for sustainable tourism and marine conservation.
Driven by her affinity for seasonal ingredients and local wine, Heather became a Sommelier and pioneered a niche market as the Co-founder of Black LAB, an eco-friendly event company who’s fresh juice cocktails and dedication to sustainable events raised the industry standards. Currently cohosting the podcast, Man Seeks Adventure, where she creates a unique ‘Drink of the Day’ for each episode; Heather was also a recurring guest-mixologist on the top-rated Playboy Morning Show,” and producer and host of “The MixDown,” a series on Complex TV with 180+ million impressions, where she created unique cocktail recipes paired with electronic dance music.
