A thrill-seeking adventurer who lives to explore local culture, Heather has visited more than 20 countries across the globe. From skydiving, and shark diving to tarantulas crawling up her leg, Heather believes you only live once and is always down.
Studying environmental science with a focus on water quality, Heather lived extensively in the Caribbean working in marine conservation and eco-tourism. A certified SCUBA Rescue Diver, she collected field research and helped propose new boundary guidelines for an established marine park. While working for the Caribbean Alliance for Sustainable Tourism in Puerto Rico, she developed sustainable tourism guides and environmental management tools for the regions hotels and resorts. An advocate for ocean conservation, Heather speaks on sustainable fishing practices and the importance of protecting the resources for future generations.
